Precision mult with internal chaining between channels

Very compact active quad buffered mult module designed on a single PCB. Module features 4 low noise  -1 to 3 signal multiple channels with 0.1% gain precision and very small offset suitable for both audio and CV.

These buffers are very stable and precise suitable for buffering pitch CV. Usually one copy is sent to control analog Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) and another one to filter CV.

Channels 2 to 4 are wired to receive voltage from previous buffer when nothing is connected to their inputs. Allows daisy chaining 2x to 1 to 6 or 1x – 1 to 12 copies.

0Ω and 1kΩ impedance compensated mult versions

Module is available in two options – With 1kΩ source impedance compensation and without the compensation.

1kΩ output resistor is a “Vintage Standard” used in Moog Mother-32 as well as other classic synthesizers and older Eurorack module pitch CV outputs.

Most modern modules such as Doepfer and other recent MIDI to CV modules and sequencers use 0Ω impedance scheme to output pitch CV.  These modules do not need compensation, just accurate buffering.

Please check the manual of your MIDI to CV converter for output resistor value (impedance) and let us know which version of the module should be sent.

If you are planning to use buffer outputs to control Moog and other synths that expect 1kΩ impedance choose outputs of 1kΩ otherwise choose 0Ω. In both cases it will provide 0.1% precision. We can set up different options separately for each buffer on request.

Module revision 2.0

New module version features elongated screw holes, Burr-Brown audio OpAmps rated with max 0.25mV offset as well as extra parts to allow true 0 ohm impedance.
